Petaling Jaya, 28th January 2022 -  Malaysia’s leading automotive college, TOC Automotive College, has entered into an education partnership with Chai Ken Motorcycles Sdn. Bhd. The partnership is set to provide opportunities directly to TOC students to work in the industry, particularly in the two-wheel category that Chai Ken leads with its 17 branches nationwide.

The agreement between both organisations will see Chai Ken recruit TOC students directly from the college’s Bike Assistant Technician (BAT) programme. The company expects to recruit 15 TOC students for the initial batch and continue doing so with subsequent batches over the next 3 years.

Students of TOC’s Bike Assistant Technician (BAT) course go through a 12-month programme focusing on the repair, service, maintenance, and diagnostics of two-wheel motor vehicles. First, they spend 3 months gaining theoretical knowledge and another 9 months gaining practical and hands-on training experience.

TOC students graduate from the BAT programme equipped with skills that are in high demand within the motorcycle industry. Mr Ang Jun Fu, Managing Director of Chai Ken Motorcycles Sdn. Bhd. understands this first-hand as an alumnus of another TOC programme, the Superbike Technician Course (SBC).
