The term ‘superbike’ by itself isn’t very strictly defined. By common understanding, a superbike is a high-performance sports bike carrying a large engine, typically between 800-1200 cc’s. Superbikes have been around for about 50 years at this point. The first motorcycle to be called a ‘superbike’ was the Honda CB750 which was produced back in 1969, and its maximum speed was about 193 km/h. Bear in mind, this was in the late ’60s, so that speed was unprecedented! Fast forward to today, and you’ll find modern superbikes like the Suzuki Hayabusa can max out at a mindblowing speed of 312 km/h!
Without a doubt, superbikes are some of the fastest vehicles you’ll ever find on two wheels.

TOC’s Superbike Technician Course is divided into three levels, each one focusing on different aspects of a superbike technician's work.
TOC’s Shortest 3 Level Programme Yet!
You’ll start with the basics at Level 1, and then work your way up to more complex subjects as you move up to higher levels. For example, you’ll start off by developing an understanding of motorcycle workshop safety. Knowing how to work safely in a workshop environment is key to doing the best job you possibly can. From there, you’ll be trained to understand superbike engines, fuel systems, and all the other parts that make up a superbike.
As mentioned before, your experience through these three levels will also include industrial training with TOC’s many partners. You’ll get a chance to apply everything that you learn through all three levels of your course at TOC.
