Hobbs & Shaw Movie Day with Rumah Juara | TOC CSR

The school holiday season has just ended, and for a lucky group of children from Rumah Juara based here in Petaling Jaya, it was quite an exciting time. 

Just last Wednesday on the 14th of August, 35 children from the home were treated to a fun day out at the cinema by TOC Foundation to watch one of the latest Hollywood blockbusters, Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw. These children enjoyed this fun school holiday activity together at MBO Cinemas located at The Starling Mall in Damansara Utama, Petaling Jaya.

Many thanks were also expressed to Datin Josephine Hilary Dom, CK Chan and Super Saiyan for their generosity and effort in helping to put a smile on these children’s faces during their school holidays.

Here’s what they had to say about the day out with the children: “This is a very commendable effort by the organizer to bring cheer and love to the orphans. Friends and kin of organizations can contribute in a small way to show them that society cares for them and that they’re not alone” said Datin Josephine Hilary Dom about the outing, while Mr. CK Chan expressed that he was always ready to lend a hand to such charitable causes.

For all those who were present, it was clear that there was a shared feeling of joy and gratitude from spending time with close friends and showing love towards the underprivileged children. It served as a good reminder that the little things we often take for granted can mean so much to those who have so little. In the end, sharing the fun experience with these children brought joy to all those involved.
